About Keiko’s Words

Keiko’s Words is a free daily word game played in the browser: guess three secret words a day, each from up to five clues that go from hardest to easiest, with Keiko the pixel dog cheering you on.

Who made Keiko’s Words?

Keiko’s Words was designed and built by Kale, an independent developer, with Keiko by his side. It launched in October 2026. There are no ads in the game.

Who is Keiko?

Keiko is Kale’s dog. The pixel dog who barks when you solve a word is drawn after her: same pink tongue, same sunny attitude.

Why clues instead of letters?

Most daily word games are about letters. Keiko’s Words is about meaning: each clue is a single word, and the trick is working out what it points to. The clues start abstract and get more direct, so everyone eventually gets there, and the challenge is getting there early.
